What is Susceptibility in Homeopathy?A Detailed Description of Aphorism Number 30 to 34 regarding susceptibility

Once Newton said “every action has equal and opposite reaction” apart from physics this is also work in the field of Homeopathy like every action have reaction, it may be negative or positive and this is all about Susceptibility in Homeopathy.

Susceptibility in Homeopathy

Here we will understand Susceptibility in 3 steps from Aphorism number 30 to 34
1st its “meaning”
2nd “susceptibility vs diseases” and
3rd role of “physician and Medicine” according to Dr. Hahnemann

According to Aphorism (30) number 30

Dr Hahnemann talk about power of medicines, he said we can cure human body by regulating the dose and potency.
Let’s go through their definition, in a sentence we can explain Susceptibility “as a response to any stimulation” and this stimulation May be internal or external, or we can say the response may be either positive or negative.

This Susceptibility keeps changing throughout the life. Different person has different susceptibility and same person also have different susceptibility at different point of time.
Susceptibility decreases as our age grows up, like a kid will Show high susceptibility in comparison to an adult. So, we can say age of human body is inversely proportional to the susceptibility.

In aphorism 31

Dr Hahnemann introduces “Morbific noxious agent” it is factor which causes uncomfort to human body and this is partly psychic and partly physical so it is only able to made ill when organisms show favorable stimulation according to that ‘Morbific noxious forces’ and that’s why these forces cannot produce disease in everyone at the same time at the same places.

In aphorism 32

Dr Hahnemann discussed Role of a Physician and role of their medicine.
We can regulate “bodies cure mechanism” by using appropriate medicine with appropriate Potency. so according to Dr. Hahnemann role of physician should be according to potentization and the dose of medicine should be satisfied disease susceptibility.

here, in homoeopathy we have advantage of “change of potency “and what is potency? potency is intensity of medicine. we can change dose of medicine by our will  to cure a patient.

If we have a case of diphtheria, among all medicine Lachesis Is common, now question is that when Lachesis stop to act as homeopathic medicine? so when the symptom indicates that it’s now no longer as a symptom of diphtheria the Lachesis will no longer as an indicative medicine. that means Lachesis done their job.

If patient still suffer, we must think about either change their potency, change of dose or change of medicine.
In homeopathy we have two things to deal with, first the acute state created by the disease itself and the chronic state which is the natural state of the patient born under miasm.

In the journey of “contagion to cure” practically one dose administrated or that dose which is sufficient to Causes “a suspension of influx” towards list resistance.( I mean stop flow of “disease caused wave”).
Disease has different plane or levels so medicine also work on different planes or level when symptom changes medicine stops to act as homeopathy.

According to “Dr Hahnemann the correct sequence of a homoeopathy physician” should be like

According to Dr Hahnemann the correct sequence of a homoeopathy physician should be like
the correct sequence of a homoeopathy physician

So, by this Aphorism, we get very good equation like “high susceptibility is directly proportional to potency increase” I mean as susceptibility increases potency will also increases.

What is Susceptibility?

In Aphorism 33

Dr Hahnemann States about “unconditional power of medicinal agent”, he said morbific noxious agent possess a power of morbidity, it is deranging human health which is subordinate and conditional. But medicinal agent or medicine have absolute unconditional power as we can regulate it by dose and potency which is superior to morbific noxious agent.

In the second part of this aphorism Dr Hahnemann said that improper use of all kind of medicine like allopathy its always disturb economy of human being so dr Hahnemann speak about management of chronic diseases.

Aphorism 34

is about conclusion of Dr Hahnemann’s Two proposition first is about, in order to cure, the medicine must be able to produce an artificial disease, similar to that which is to be cure and second Proposition is, this artificial disease, must be of a greater degree of intensity.

Second point of aphorism 34 is about cause of causes. yes, He explain by a very good example like a bacteriologist always suggested that particular disease caused by particular bacteria but it is not completely true. We know some bacteria already present inside our body, so why they create uncomforting to us?
See Bacteria already have some causes “to either grow up or decline down” up to that level on which human susceptibility cannot tolerate, ultimately disease caused.

So, it was all about aphorism number 30 to 34 regarding susceptibility and it’s time to sum up the topic
Clearly Susceptibility is a quality and capability of our body by this we response. I hope you all understand well about susceptibility now if you have any question, you may ask, thank you so much for your precious time and joining me have a good day.
